Zoom Rooms can automatically count the in-room attendees in your Zoom Room and display this information on Dashboard.
When enabling this feature, you will need to confirm that you are complying with local laws and regulations and will provide notice and collect consent if necessary.

Follow these steps to enable this feature for all Zoom Rooms on your account. You can also enable this for a location, floor, or individual room. Read more about changing settings based on location.
When using the attendee count feature for Zoom Rooms, the Zoom room computer will store and count images to generate a participant count temporarily. These files are temporarily stored in the following locations:
Windows: %appdata%\ZoomRooms\logs\FaceCount
macOS: ~/Library/Logs/ZoomRooms/faceCount
These files will be removed under the following conditions:
When using the attendee count feature for Zoom Rooms Appliances, the Zoom Room Appliance will query the Appliance firmware using an API to receive the participant count. The Zoom Rooms software does not create or store images to generate a participant count.
For real-time people counting in Zoom Rooms, the hardware listed below is required. This real-time functionality is currently not processed inside of Zoom Rooms software and is instead provided on hardware from these manufacturers.
Note: Support for Real-Time People Count requires Zoom Rooms version 5.5.0+ for all platforms.
